Where Are They Now?
A Chandris Lines Ex-Crew List by Chris Preston
I started this "Where are you now list" on exel early 2000.
I found that many ex-crew visited all the Chandris Lines sites, most of these sites had been put on the net by ex-passengers.
The ex-crew would leave messages on their visitor book's, I started contacting these cew members and found a commeradere among them and a need to find friends, the life as a member of the crew was an unreal experience some only doing 1 trip others many years.
I have over 550 names on the list, I updated it some time in 2009 but it is there for anyone to see, if you have an update or know of anyone that could be added please send me a note
Just as a side to this, back in the early seventies we had a big party in Southampton before or after a trip (i can not remember that well) we later heard that my mate Cris Haldenby had an accident and had passed away, so for many years in the early days of the spredssheet Cris Haldenby was deceased, well what a shock many years later Cris happened to see my list on a web site somewhere and sent me an update, I went out and had a frew beers on him....
